The large left-wing of light cavalry of Antigonus is a real weakness. Eumenes concentrated his attacks here in both games and totally destroyed it easily, with most fleeing off table. In the first game Antigonus' phalanx collapsed to complete the rout with some utterly appalling combat dice. In the second game both flanks collapsed for Antigonus. In both games, the Antigonus players found that they were unable to protect his weak left flank.

Both centers clashed with many losses, with both phalanxes and hoplites crushing each other, including the Silver Shields, but on Eumenes' right flank his cavalry and elephants easily routed away Antigonous cavalry, which is much weaker. On Eumenes left he kept pressing with some losses but using well the elephants and auxilia infantry, gaining the last points.
