The Loyd Carrier was one of a number of small tracked vehicles British and Commonwealth forces used in the Second World War to transport equipment and troops. Alongside the Bren, Scout, and Machine Gun Carriers, they also moved infantry support weapons. It had a top speed of 30 mph. The Vivian Loyd & Co and other British manufacturers produced about 26,000 units between 1939 and 1944.
