Marks got the first kill on a trapped 3 block cavalry with a ca7 roll of 4 art and 3 flags vassel dice !! A allied Bayonet Charge put two Bavarian Ln with leaders in the center woods. The French close assaulted those battering them. With the banner count 5-2 French I realize now that I could have won the game moving the Lt to the Lamboi Bridge for two banners and a three die shot at the single block LN, but I didn't see it. Later a lucky double sabre roll on a leader made it 7-3 French and left a single block LT on the Lamboi Bridge. This left the Allies in a bad spot, he had to occupy the bridge or the French would move there for the win. He had to expose the single block LT in the center to get the Austrian LN on the bridge. The French ended it killing the single block LT. Lots of one and two block French left lucky that they had the woods to protect them. We switch sides for the second game on Friday I think its 0100 GMT, Mark correct this if it the wrong time.
