Game 1
Bangla (Allies): 7
g1ul10 (French): 8
The majority of the action took place on the French right section. Allies attacked boldly with the intention of conquering the village and did it. WIth big efforts, the French managed to re-conquer it. At that point, I was pretty much in control of the match but I made the horrendous mistake of moving my cav out of Telnitz, charging a single block squared unit of Russia grenadiers. Honestly, I had 5/12 probability to close the match there, so maybe the mistake was not so horrendous

But in any case, I failed and the next turn the Cossacks were back in the village. Since then I had to struggle with very bad cards while the Allies conquered one VP after the other while crawling across the river into the central village. Finally, also thanks to good rolls, I eliminated one of those light infantry commandos for the final VP.
WIth tactician cards, special rules, victory conditions, and national specificities, there are a lot of things to remember and handle in this scenario. Maybe too many for my tastes. I feel this as an undeserved victory. I have the impression that I'm still learning this game. Tony seemed so aware of the overall development and the available opportunities. For sure, I learned from him.
