So I am concerned about the state of the tournament now.
Nemo has withdrawn due to changing circumstances, which I understand
6 players have completed 2 or less matches, including 1 that has no completed matches.

I am in two minds about what steps to take.
1. Call a result at the deadline, which obviously favours players that have played more matches
2. Extend the deadline, but will that produce more results given the low match rate already?

Any thoughts here would be appreciated, and any unreported matches, a report to the Forum please. Really helps if the report to the Forum is prompt, because it saves me chasing it up, I can check logs if necessary, and I have a general sense of how the tournament is running.

Either is ok by me. I'd be happy for an extended deadline if it helps more players. If it is not possible to calculate a fair outcome on the original rules, is some better substitute possible, like average banners per game played ? Or would it work to calculate based on victories in games only between those players who are still in the competition?

I think that it was fully enough time to play, I don't think that adding time will help a lot. There is an other problem with Nemo out. French players will miss one game. Also there are zero games with Dawnreader. It can be not to much fair, because other games have different top points. Average can be good variant but it is also not the best one. May be some other players can played these games after Nemo not for competition at Allies sector, but for points at French?

I also believe there was actually enough time, eventhough I have only started to play my games last week. Due to my summer scheduele I planned to play my games in November and December and actually for a tournament like this one even 3-4 months should be enough, but this year had been an interesting one. I believe nobody was able to follow a planned scheduele due to the aftermath of COVID and such. I am currently playing my 2 other games and most probably will have completed my 3 games at the end of the week (.i.e Riverwanderer, Andrey adn MarkG). As far as the other 3 opponents as I understand Dawnreader and Nemo are missing.

I believe this question should be best directed to these 2 or any one that will sit in for them since most of the other games are completed by either the allies or the french. If we can find the replacements or if they are plannıng to complete then I do not see a reason not to exend since that means for all of us 2-3 mor egames to play, which is actuallly the intention of all this mini tournamnetds, to  play more games )
 

Also I believe there is a mistake in the results table. The Round 4 results ... one of the blue results is to much most probaly the 15 result of ANDRE. Except stephent no French commander at this point can have more than 3 results.

The struggle began with the French pushing iin the left flank with their cav., and marching in the center. The Prussian initially moved from their left flank trying to to cross the birdge  to take the town, but the French under Gerard manage to repell any treat. French were succesful on the left and in the center. The russians were able to actually kill every single inf of the french in the center and the left flank but the french cavalry were very effective and were able to finish of the weakened russian infs in square. 


Exciting game throughout, with a dramatic finish. Thanks to Mark for a great match and also for enduring and organizing all this tournaments.
