Crazy dices.... was created by Hawkmoon
Hi Comrades !
We've been playing this afternoon with Pascal at home, testing a scenario in the Pyrénées (top secret :P ) and the rolled dices were going crazy destroying entire units of Infantry supported on hill. Pascal and I were thinking about the might of some rolls.
I just thinked in one idea on make the rolls (especially against infantry) less brutal :
Why not convert some hits into banners ?
I'm gonna explain my thought :
A unit is supported that significates that it could ignore one banner ; so, when the dices are rolled and there's no banner, transform one hit into a banner that must be applied (no battle back) ; if the unit can't retreat (supported by 2 others units behind), it will roll one dice less on its battle back (as if it has suffered a hit).
I hope that I'm not creating a gas plant like we say in France.
Waiting for your comments

One more thought :
The targeted unit must take a minimum of one hit before turning other hit into a banner.

I see no sense in this.
Yes, sometimes dices goes crazy here and it can break players plans even cause defeat (I won one MT game that way, he-he  ), but it happens not as frequent to introduce new rules. Naps battle system where number of dice rolled depends on unit's strength is already progressive in comparoson with earlier Borg's games. So lets do not hurry up and wait for next expansions. It can be some special rule for "next" armies to display theirs reduced power, but this idea s not for "entire game".

If you want to win the fight, say - "I believe!"
