Barend,

Great idea with your Dutch Lancers of the Guard. Do you have a picture of one with a lance?

The Carabiniers are a good idea too. Maybe C&C will add some odd individual units like these in the future. Obviously they would be the same as Cuirassiers, but just for a change now and then, they could appear in scenarios where the Carabiniers fought. They might also consider making different coloured Hussar unit pictures for each nation as the Hussar uniforms were so different in the SAME army.

Anyway, nice work.

Hi,

I've found the source for the red lancer picture(s). They are painted mini's from www.firstlegionltd.com/nap0243french5thc...earercharging-1.aspx

There's also one with a lance... ;)

You're right about the Hussars, the current sticker doesn't do their splendid uniforms justice. :)

Hi all, TheMP,

here is a new Red Lancer, this time with a lance. :cheer:

This one has better 'contrast' and is less 'yellowish/reddish' when printed. Hope you'll like it.

Hi,

first of all I would like to give some credits for the images of the Carabinier and the Polish Lancer to "Napflatpaper" on:
www.flickr.com/photos/75581024@N02/sets/with/72157629137714976

Although I'm not quite happy with the Polish Guard Lancer (the image is too dark and too small to my taste) I will post it anyways. At this stage the Russian Guard Lancer is imho a better option to 'enlist' in your French Army.... ;)

Cheers, Barend

Hi all,

just one other unit label. This time i's a Lancer of the line drawn by Pierre Conrad.
Despite the dark colours in the original image, the label looks very crispy and colourful.

Wonderful Barend. Thank You! How about some artillery and infantry? Someone needs to make units for The South American Wars of Independence: The Armies of Bolivar and San Martin.

I've made* one new label. This time it is the Chasseurs à Cheval of the line (these are French Light Cav.). Unfortunately the signature on the original image is verry difficult to read so I can't give any credits at this moment. My apologies for this omission.

However this brings me to the following question. I'm using images from other people - and although you can 'quote' images just like pieces of text, I don't know however what is allowed in general and this forum particular So if someone have objections to my unofficial labels, just let me know. It is not my intention to violate any intellectuel-and/or copyright.

Cheers Barend
