Start the Prussian arrival countdown at 10.

At the start of British turn 4, and each British turn from then on, roll 2 dice.
For each sabre rolled reduce the countdown by one.

When the countdown reaches 0 the British win by sudden death.

I'm going to give this a try. So to be clear, you play the first 4 turns as normal and then start to roll the 2 dice, counting down from 10 for the Prussians.

Or are the 4 Allied turns included in the countdown of 10?

I've now played this system twice - After the first 4 Allied turns they roll 2 dice and reduce the countdown by one from 10 for every sabre hit.

In the first game the countdown went to 8 and the second only 9. In total the games ran for around 12 turns. Has anyone else tried this? Perhaps reduce the countdown to 8?

Interestingly the scenario stats show 80% French win!!

Therefore, we hope, the Waterloo scenario will be overworked, after the prussian
expansion is out ;)

My dice are the hell!

As stated in my initial post I suggested at the start of turn 4.

Further thinking about it maybe the dice roll should be:

Roll two dice, for each Infantry symbol the Prussian arrival moves one step closer.

That gives:
10% of two steps
46% of one step
44% of no steps

Quickest Prussians would be 5 turns and average would be about 10 with something like 8 to 12 being the usual range.
