Historical Background
Call me crazy, but why would anyone want to inhabit a planet located smack dab in between two belts of the Kepler asteroid field? Until now there was no reason to even venture into this region, but the High Council received a request from these fine folks to join the Confederation. The Commonwealth must have also gotten word of their request, for as we approach the planet Kepler, we have made visual contact through the asteroid belt with the Commonwealth fleet.

Special Rules
• Task force cards are used in this scenario. Both faction players draw one card at random.
• Support vessels are purchased in this scenario. Both faction players purchase 40 points of support vessels.
• Planet control objective rules are in effect for both factions. One victory point is gained for each unit that occupies a planet hex at the start of the player's turn.
