My latest Tricorne offering.
Some 250 Continental riflemen from Virginia and Maryland and a few well emplaced cannon defend the hilltop redoubts on the northern flank of Fort Washington against 4,000 Hessians under General Wilhelm von Knyphausen. It may seem like a forlorn hope, but if well handled, the quick moving Continentals can exact a toll on the attackers and maybe even win the day with some goid shooting and a bit of luck. Alright, back to a long overdue start of an oil painting of my night attack A-10 unit in combat during Desert Storm. A note I forgot to put in the Special Rules: the hexes behind both lines of hills are a level plain. The stream represents the Hudson River and is impassable.
