Managed one French win from 4 games which we reckoned was good going. However, once the French lead units were smashed the British were able to grind them down one by one.

New to the system and played the French to try to figure out best way to attack. Stupidly moved up my left flank units who ended up stuck nowhere with no cards, then my right piecemeal. Cleared out one field work on the British left which their Highlanders easily took back, and every time it looked like I was linking up my lines the British managed to break them up again. Then successive British line volleys did the business, killing two French leaders as well. 9-2 British.

An english victory : 9/2 followed by a french-american one : 9/4. In both battles, the 2 french generals were killed in action ! In the 2 games, the action took place in the french sector with fierce fights. A very interesting scenario to play.

This is such a fun scenario. The French need to get over the barricades. With the American support lagging so far behind, it's "do or die" for the French infantry before the British can shoot them to pieces. Beware the Brits getting an early Bombard card!

I love this battle! Have played both sides and had success with both but about 65-35 favor of the British.
If you can get the French rolling, It's mop up time for the Americans on the British right.

9-5 for the Crown (1st game) 2 Reco cards played
9-8 for the Continentals (2nd game).
British side was leading 8-3 but with a bayonet charge, the situation changed radically to 8-6 (Continental turn) then 8-7 (British turn) and finally 8-9 by occupying 2 English positions.
Very hard to play for the Continental side

A 9-4 win for the Brits. The French went all-in and captured a couple of redoubts but the combination of the Royal artillery giving the French a jolly good flensing coupled with the British reserves launching bayonet attacks retook a redoubt. The French tried to sneak off the base edge and might have turned the tide but for the heroic stand of the British Light Infantry on the left and the heroic sacrifice of their supporting Provincial Infantry. A shout out for General Tawes who was always there to lead in the next reserve British infantry unit. Huzzah Sir!
