VASSAL version

Leader names are bit speculative, based on what accounts I can find.
especially this one fredricks.info/RhodeIsland.html

I've also taken the liberty of of editing the Special rules to condense them somewhat.

Battle Notes:

Continental Army
• Commander: Sullivan
• 5 Command Cards & 5 Combat Cards

British Army
• Commander: Pigot
• 5 Command Cards & 4 Combat Cards
• Move First

Victory
5 Victory Banners

Special Rules
• Opening Cannonade rules are in effect.
• Narrangasett Bay and Sakonnet River are impassable
• The Stream is fordable
• The Continental player gains 1 Temporary Victory Banner, at the start of his turn if he
occupied Artillery Redoubt fieldworks hex. The Continentals start with one victory banner.
• The British player gains one temporary victory banner if he occupies the Artillery Redoubt
fieldworks hex or Butt's Hill Redoubt hilltop camp hex
• Hedge hexes are treated the same as fence hexes (VASSAL resolved)
• Some units start understrength. These units cannot gain more blocks than they start with.

Looks great Mark, thanks! The leader names are certainly close enough. Prescott was commander of the reserve force that never made it into battle but he was within shouting distance if he didn’t get into the fray. In keeping with your ordering system, could christen it MC 01. If you get bored and translate the Concord one I’ll call it MC02. Major change to that one is simplifying Brit retreat rules and just having them retreat west towards Concord. Cheers, MaGoo
