Mark, I’ve thought about doing Trenton but felt Princeton world be more playable and less of a one sided blow out. I’ve been playtesting it the last couple of weeks. The Brits are outnumbered by two to one but, if deftly played and with a little card and dice luck they can give ole George W a run for his money. I’ll release the final version in a couple of days.
Latest version with a stronger 55th Foot on Mercer Hill. Historically they didn’t engage even though so close by. In the scenario I’ll allow that but if they cross out of their side of the board to the aid of Lt Col Mawhood’s forces they’ll have to award the Continentals a victory banner.
From the American side with a slightly weaker 55th Foot top right. Washington leads Cadwalader’s Philadelphia Militia at center with Gen Mercer’s forces stumbling into British Lt Infantry by the “orchard” (woods hex). Lower left is Philly Militia Lt Infantry as well. On right is Hand’s Riflemen and Hitchcock’s Continental Brigade.
