well, if I'm not officially replaced, I was finally able to play.
If I am replaced, no problem
Played Waterloo with Plainscape, and despite me standing him up twice

and despite awful connection problems, we completed the battle.
Logfile was lost from my side in the mayhem, but perhaps he could post it.
Waterloo B015
The battle went poorly for the French on the allied right flank when initial moves met some harsh fire which ultimately led to the french having several INF severely weakened, the HA getting charged and eliminated, and some CU units finding themselves boxed in against an INF assault from the woods they could not retire from. On the opposite flank, the FR captured their objective and held it with a 1 strength LN. The YG got bloodied terribly and retreated, but not before demolishing a squared british LN unit on the hills. An all out assault in the center met stiff BR resistance and gunfire sent the attackers backwards. In the end, several allied casualties were handed out by the FRENCH GHC and OG units who went on solo assaults to good effect, but it was just not quite enough.
Final:
Allies (Tarheel): 8 flags (33 blocks lost)
French (Plainscape): 5 flags (53 blocks lost)
NOTE:
What the heck is the deal with the Impetuous CAV rule? It seems to me that the spirit of the rule is that the CAV should keep moving forward, but the rules seem to not prevent it being able to return to the starting hex. It only came up once, and we chose to meet in the middle and allow it to make a lateral move. That rule should be a bit more clear.
